WEMF Radio is selecting 10 Sonicbids artists to have their music played on their Internet radio station. WEMF is also looking for bands to consider for live in studio interviews and performances.
The Opportunity
WEMF Radio is an independent, online radio station and media outlet focused on providing listeners with a personalized, interactive listening experience. The station creates an awareness of local Boston interests, views, events, artists, business owners and other prominent figures that help expand the community and enrich the Boston music scene.
The WEMF station is located in Central Square, Cambridge, renowned as the cultural epicenter of the local music community. The EMF Building is an iconic landmark that became the inspiration for the station name, WEMF Radio.

The Band
Required:
- Original music only
- Professional quality MP3s
- Rock, hip hop, funk and jam music
- Local Boston bands and artists
- Touring bands traveling through New England area
The Gig
Interview Details:
- Interviews last 5-15 minutes
- Interviews are live on-air and are also available on podcast
- Acoustic sets are 2 songs
- Live sets are 15 minutes
- Backline drumkit provided; must bring hardware, cymbals, snare and kick pedal
