Kate Diaz shows us how it's done. A singer-songwriter from Chicago, she does everything herself. She runs her own social media channels, manages her website, and writes all her own songs. She's manages all her own booking, and has played over 60 gigs through Sonicbids. All this, and she's only 16 years old.
Kate got her start at 11 when she won a guitar solo contest at her local Sam Ash store. From there she's gone on to perform at Lollapalooza, Taste of Chicago, Milwaukee Summerfest, and the United Nations Day of the Girl Summit.
She recently came to our offices in Boston. In town for the 5-week Berklee summer program, she got to swing by and see how things work behind the scenes at Sonicbids. She performed 4 songs for us, as part of our OfficeGigs series.
