Promoting a show? Here's a cool idea.

Lately, I'm seeing more and more musicians collaborating with visual artists and it excites me. Here's a really cool and effective example of great art collaboration.

Work with a local visual artist (or two or more!) to create a show poster. Film the entire process of creating the poster - if you want to get really fancy, add some fun visual effects and tones to your film. Then, use some basic film editing software (like iMovie) to time elapse the process to the length of one of your songs.

Bam! You have an awesome, shareable video that is both cool to watch and that will let your fans know about an upcoming show.

Here's a great example by Moscow producer, DZA. Check it out!
