Paul Lewis is an established artist, having performed over 4000 live shows and releasing six successful albums. Sonicbids artists are encouraged to submit their EPKs for an opportunity to be produced by Paul in Hollywood, Nashville or Philadelphia. The deadline to submit is Aug. 3rd.
Bonfire Music Free Studio Time - BonfireLA is a new full service music production studio in Los Angeles. To get off the ground, they’re looking to offer 20 free hours of studio time to at least one Sonicbids artist. Bonfire Studios specializes in recording "live" instruments and are not as equipped to record electronic music or heavy MIDI setups. They provide quality recording of live drums, guitars, keyboards, vocals, and more with professional gear and a relaxed atmosphere. The deadline to submit is Aug. 5th.
Maximum Threshold Magazine Artist Spotlight - Maximum Threshold Magazine is a new rock and metal music magazine proving sharp photography and snappy writing for the new age. The magazine, affiliated with maximumthreshold.net, is a quarterly publication with their first nationally distributed issue going out in September 2011. They are reserving 1 slot a Sonicbids artist to be featured in their first issue. The deadline to submit is Aug. 15th.
FOL Records - Free Mixing and Consultation - FOL Records is an online record label that dedicates itself in helping artists jump-start their music career. FOL offers non-exclusive agreements that enable the artist to have creative control over their fame. They are offering their services free of charge to a guaranteed 30 Sonicbids artists. FOL is seeking primarily pop, hip hop, R&B, soul, and top 40 groups but is open to a wide range of genres. The deadline to submit is Sept. 7th.
Afton Presents: Nationwide Booking - Afton produces concerts in many venues around the country and features most genres. They typically book local acts for all age or 18+ shows in 100-250 capacity establishments, though there are exceptions. Artists are compensated for shows. Rates vary from show to show and band to band. Selection through this opportunity does not count as a specific booking. Selected artists will be asked to sign up for Afton’s online artist roster. From there an Afton booking rep will work with artists to book the best-fit shows. The deadline to submit is Sept. 16th.
