Beats and Lyrics Magazine - Beats And Lyrics Magazine is a bi-monthly print publication and an online magazine that keeps its readers up to date with current affairs in the urban community. It is looking for at least 1 hip-hop, rap, R&B or urban Sonicbids artist for an emerging artist feature, as well as its general review/feature portion of the magazine. All submitted EPKs will be reviewed by industry professionals to determine candidates for the current issue of Beats And Lyrics Magazine. The deadline to submit is August 11th.
Vigilant Promotions Radio Promotion - Vigilant Promotions is a next generation promotion company specializing in music and the lifestyles that it conveys. They offer cost effective promotion and marketing to individuals, businesses, and organizations of all categories that might be looking for alternative outlets to promote their products and/or services on a nation-wide scale. At least two Sonicbids members will be selected for a single ‘5 Station Radio Push’ at no additional charge; artists selected after these initial two may be offered to pay additional fees to participate in one of the regular service fee related campaign options at your personal discretion. The deadline to submit is August 19th.
Winterfolk Festival Live Auditions - Winterfolk - The Great Indoor Music Event - is now in its tenth year! Toronto's Winterfolk Festival is selecting artists to fill showcase stages February 17 - 19, 2012 using live auditions throughout Southern Ontario. There will be four separate auditions at either Monarch's Pub or Moonshine Cafe and two artists from each audition are guaranteed selection for Winterfolk X. There is no cost for the Winterfolk Live Auditions, but artists can choose to donate $5 or $10. The deadline to submit is August 21st.
CultureBomb Music Review - CultureBomb is in search of all types of artists to feature in their online magazine. CultureBomb features explosive news and views from the alternative scene. This online alternative magazine focuses on a variety of genres including acoustic, Americana, bluegrass, blues, country, rock, and soul. Selected artists receive a written review published on www.culturebomb.net and a possible interview opportunity. The deadline to submit is August 24th.
Soundwave Roster - Soundwave is a New Haven, CT based management company interested in helping artists develop their careers through outside of the box tactics. They are seeking new artists for their 2011 lineup and have reserved one guaranteed slot for a Sonicbids artist from the USA. Soundwave accepts acts from a range of genres including acoustic, adult contemporary, alternative, contemporary Christian, country, folk, pop, rock, singer/songwriter, and R&B. Selected artists will be offered a management deal with Soundwave. Only US artists will be considered. The deadline to submit is August 31st.
