TurnStyle Music Group Showcase - TurnStyle Music Group offers showcase opportunities for artists and bands by providing them with tons of opportunity to grow. The showcases start at smaller venues and end with opening slots for national touring acts. They are looking to book Sonicbids bands based in the east coast to perform live at The National Underground in New York City. Artists will be compensated. The deadline to submit is TODAY, Jan. 28th.
Renaissance Hotel at the TED Conference - The Renaissance Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach, CA is looking for 3 bands that can bring great entertainment to the guests staying with them during the TED Conference! The ideal artists or bands will be mellow and exciting at the same time. To get a better idea of musical styles that work, ELEW performed last year and was a huge hit, and they are also fans of Caitlin Moe. One band will be selected for each night - February 28, February 29, and March 1, 2012. Compensation for this performance will be up to $1,000. Bands will be provided with a meal. The deadline to submit is Jan. 31st.
'Round Magazine Music - ‘Round Magazine is looking for talented bands and solo artists to feature in their next issue. They are seeking national artists from the USA to feature in their magazine. Five slots have been reserved for Sonicbids artists. ‘Round is primarily seeking performers in the genres of rock, singer/songwriter, world, reggae, and alt-country. Artists should have several songs and extensive PR information included in their EPK. The deadline to submit is Jan. 31st.
Do Yo Thang Talent Showcase - RockUrFace Entertainment Presents the 2nd Annual "Do Yo Thang" Talent Showcase in Ann Arbor, Jackson and Lansing, MI. Audition dates will be first and second week of April (exact dates and times TBD). Open To all Genres: Music, Comedy, Magic, Acting, DJ's, and any talent. 1st prize will receive photo/video shoot for resume, studio time (if applicable), cash prize (TBD), and a slot at the 2012 Hippie Fest in Stock Bridge, MI at The Heartland Woods Amphitheater. The deadline to submit is Feb. 1st.
