PrideFest Milwaukee - Milwaukee PrideFest, one of the nation’s most dynamic pride celebrations, is branching out. Outside of their normal three-day festival, PrideFest is now hosting a series of music showcases targeted at promoting local and regional talent. They are specifically seeking bands for their first event on March 9th, 2012. This series kicks off with a showcase at Turner Hall in Milwaukee, and they’ve come to Sonicbids to find bands to fill the bill. The deadline to submit is Feb. 10th.
Open for Loretta Lynn - 30 artists will be selected for a round of showcases which will be judged by a panel of judges, from which 10 artists will be selected to move on to the next round. From these 10 artists, Loretta Lynn's management will select a winner to open for Loretta at her show in Hurricane Mills, TN on May 26th. The promoter will consider genres including Pop, Folk, Bluegrass, Americana, Acoustic Rock, etc. The deadline to submit is Feb. 25th.
