Licensing:
Christmas Music 24/7 – Christmas Music 24/7 launched in 2004 and is now the most popular network of Christmas stations at Live365. The station producers are looking for original Christmas themed songs in the following styles: Traditional, Jazz and instrumental, Country, Classical, Eclectic, Contemporary Christian and praise music. Artists whose songs are selected and aired on the show will be compensated with royalties, which are paid to SoundExchange and ASCAP, BMI or SESAC. There are 20 reserved slots for Sonicbids artists. The deadline to submit is June 15th.
SkinNY Song Licensing – The new TV series The SkinNY is set to air on the cable TV station Karmaloop TV in November 2011. The producers are seeking hip-hop, urban/R&B, club, dance, techno, electronica, mainstream pop, and rap to license for use in the show. Promoters welcome use of autotune. The SkinNY is looking for original music only and grants artists all appropriate royalties. Artists who apply and are selected must sign consideration contracts to be chosen. Of those artists some will have songs selected for use in the show. Artists must own all the rights to their music and be willing to license it for gratis use in exchange for royalty rights. The deadline to submit is June 21st.
Indie Music Videos Show – Indie Music Videos Show is an internet and digital music video TV station. It will be airing professional style music videos (please no cell phone recorded videos or live performance videos). There are at least 5 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists who submit their original song music videos to the show. Selected videos will be aired on the internet based television station. The deadline to submit is June 29th.
Venues:
British Beer Company – The British Beer Company, an English style pub, is throwing a beach themed party on their outdoor patio on July 23rd from 2-6 PM. The party will be free to the public and feature free food and giveaways. They are in search of a band that can keep people dancing with both covers and originals. Selected artists receive $300 plus food. The deadline to submit is June 27th.
The Starlight Theatre VIP Club – The Starlight Theatre, located in Kansas City, MO, is a not-for-profit organization where performing arts share center stage with education. As part of their 2011 Capitol Federal Concert Series, they are in search of artists to play in the VIP Club before the opening act of the night. These solo artists or bands will play for the VIP Club members and guests for 30 to 45 minutes before the opening act is scheduled. The deadline to submit is July 31st.
