Broken City Social Club: Broken City Social Club is multi-purpose room and patio that hosts live bands, DJs, dancing, karaoke, jazz jams, rock jams and more. Voted "Best Rock Venue" year over year in Calgary, Alberta, it is booking solo artists and bands to perform live at the venue, 7 days per week. Artists of all genres who are local, regional and touring are encouraged to submit. Artist compensation is negotiable and dependent on the artist or band. The deadline to submit is April 22, 2011.


The Glass City Opry: The Glass City Opry is a premier bluegrass venue in northwestern Ohio. Designed to showcase not only local and regional bluegrass bands, the show has also offered national acts such as New Found Road, the Dixie Bee Liners and Honi Deaton and Dream. The theatre seats 500 and is beautifully restored with over 3 million dollars in renovations several years ago. The Glass City Opry is looking to book bluegrass artists to perform live at the venue. Artists will be compensated a percent of the tickets sold at the door. The deadline to submit is April 28, 2011.

Abbey Pub: Abbey Pub, located in Chicago, IL, is a staple in the community for great food and great live music. It is looking to book local, regional and touring solo artists and bands to perform live at the venue Thursdays through Sundays. A variety of genres are accepted, except for hip-hop, rap and death metal. Artists will be compensated with a split of the door. The deadline to submit is April 30, 2011.

Shrine NYC: Shrine, located in New York, NY, is a multimedia arts and culture venue, founded in 2007 by musicians and music lovers in the music capitol of Harlem. It is looking to book local to touring solo artists and bands to perform live on every night of the week (Friday and Saturdays are reserved for established world artists). Webers Place welcomes a wide variety of genres, especially world musicians, for which the venue is famous. Artists must be able to draw at least 50 people to the show and be 21 years and older to play. The deadline to submit is May 1, 2011.

Beyond The Music Label Series: Beyond The Music Label Series ® Austin, TX sets out to help musical artists or bands who want to be exposed to music labels, film production studios and brand managers. Beyond the Music Label is a great free event representing and elevating talented local bay area artists presented by Indie Vixens. Beyond the Music Label awards prizes quarterly, and exposes an artist's music to music executives, brand managers, and film production houses. The deadline to submit is May 13, 2011.
