Why You Should Play Boston Calling

I’m sure you’re familiar with the old saying, “There’s no such thing as a stupid question.” There really isn’t, but after you’re through reading this blog, you may believe that there is at least no-brainer out there:

“Why should I play Boston Calling?”

Because I am your friend, I am going to outline a few reasons as to why you should be yearning to play Boston Calling Music Festival.

That Lineup  - Vampire Weekend. Kendrick Lamar. Passion Pit. Major Lazer. Need I go on? OK. The Airborne Toxic Event. Solange. Deer Tick.

Hip-hop, rock, indie, EDM, alt-country, R&B; there is something for everyone on this bill so you’ll fit in whether you’re a singer-songwriter or a shoegaze alt-polka ska band. On a sidenote, if you are a shoegaze alt-polka ska band, please get in touch, I’d like to listen to your discography immediately.

Get Paid – The two artists selected by Boston Calling are going to get paid. So yes, you’re going to one of the country’s best new festivals and get paid. You can have your cake and eat it, too.

Massive Exposure - The first Boston Calling Music Festival was sold out and packed to the gills with 40,000 people and that was with weather that could only positively be described as ‘at least it’s not a hurricane’.

September’s fest is poised to be just as big, giving your band crazy amounts of exposure not only to fans, but all of the amazing brands working the festival.

So the next time you overhear someone asking why they should play Boston Calling you know it’s a no-brainer.

Now, what are you waiting for?
