6 Things All Musicians Have Secretly Wanted to Do at Some Point

Written by Dylan Welsh | Apr 21, 2015 03:00 PM

Everybody has guilty pleasures. Even musicians, who can make complete fools out of themselves on stage for the enjoyment of others, have wishes that they keep to themselves. These are six of our most common fantasies, exposed. (Don't even try to deny it.)

1. Stage dive (successfully)

It sure makes you feel cool when people don't move out of the way.

2. Wear crazy wigs and outfits

Not to mention the smiling and strutting.

3. Try narcotics

It won't make you cool, though! Stay in school, kids!

4. Wear sunglass at all times

This, however, might indeed make you cool.

5. Write a gratuitous autobiography

Because your life is obviously incredibly interesting. You're a musician!

6. Have hundreds of thousands of fans scream your lyrics back to you

No matter how "hip" it is to be an underground band, or how unrealistic it is for your group, everybody's wanted to be a rock star at some point.
