Thee Parkside - Thee Parkside, located in San Francisco, is a longtime home to bikers and blue-collars and has transformed itself into one of the city's finest small rooms for rock. It is looking to book local, regional, and touring solo artists and bands to perform live on Thursdays through Sundays. Thee Parkside welcomes rock'n'roll, garage-punk, country, rockabilly, surf, '60s soul, indie rock. It does not book hip-hop, funk, electronica, mainstream rock, or Top 40 cover bands. Indie Castle Mixtape Series - Indie Castle and Coast2Coast Mixtapes are presenting a mixtape series each month, which will be promoted through Indie Castle and The Coast 2 Coast websites. The mixtape will appear on hundreds of blogs, RSS feeds and podcasts across the internet. They will be pressing up to 1,000 physical copies to pass out at various music conferences, festivals and awards shows. The mixtape will also be emailed to over 1,000 DJs. IndieSceneTV - IndieSceneTV is a multimedia celebration of the independent spirit. It includes a TV series that will air on DirecTV, a website that inspires viewers with stories of real people following their passion to make a living, and an e-commerce site where viewers can purchase products on the show. They are seeking music videos of indie performers to place on their website and on their upcoming TV show. IndieSceneTV welcomes acoustic, alternative, Americana, avant-garde, country, electronica, folk, pop, rock, singer/songwriters, and most every other genre as long as the artists display a strong affinity for the indie scene. The deadline to submit is Sep. 6th.
Afton Presents: Nationwide Booking - Afton produces concerts in many venues around the country and features most genres. They typically book local acts for all age or 18+ shows in 100-250 capacity establishments, though there are exceptions. Artists are compensated for shows. Rates vary from show to show and band to band. Selection through this opportunity does not count as a specific booking. Selected artists will be asked to sign up for Afton’s online artist roster. From there an Afton booking rep will work with artists to book the best-fit shows. The deadline to submit is Sep. 16th.
