Selected groups will be compensated from the kitchen, the bar, and a percentage of the entrance fees. The deadline to submit is Mar 27th.
Share a Night with Tiger Suit - Tiger Suit is playing at the Artword Theatre on May 10th and is looking for one or two Hamilton, ON based acts to share the night with. The Artword Theatre is located at 15 Colburne St. and the show will start at 8pm sharp. There is no cover charge (and no guaranteed pay) but acts can pass a tip hat and sell merchandise. Speakers in-house mixer, and vocal mics will be provided. Bands will be required to provide any other equipment they need (drum kit, bass amps, etc.). Applying artists should be Hamilton based and have a local draw. The deadline to submit is Mar 30th.
Party in the Pines Motorcycle Rally 2012 - Party in the Pines is a three-day motorcycle rally that raises funds to support local veterans groups and national soldier projects. They are looking for rock/southern rock bands to play the outdoor stage and quieter acts to play the indoor stage. About 12 bands will play throughout the course of the event. Showcase entertainment is sought to play with very limited compensation. The deadline to submit is Apr 24th.
RAW Artists Showcase - RAW handpicks and spotlights local artistic talent in film, fashion, music, visual art, hair & makeup artistry, and performance art. With artists from all genres in each showcase, RAW events come together to form an amazing one-night circus of creativity. The RAW season runs from February to October every year, hosting a multi-faceted arts event every month in 20+ different cities nationwide.
