Tomorrow a group of us are getting out of the gross, rainy Boston weather and heading down to SXSW! Here are some things you should know:
- Party at Maggie Mae’s on Friday, March 19 – 11:30-5:30 p.m. Bands playing: The Law, The Cassavettes, Bad Veins, Obi Best, The Uglysuit, Cosmo Jarvis, Jets Overhead, The Broderick, Bear Hands, Kate Miller-Heidke, Francis, Family of the Year. Remember: even if you’re not there, you can watch the party streaming live at www.sonicbids.com/sonicsx.
- Don’t forget about our band sponsorship program. We’re going to give one band $4,000 in tour sponsorship and a 4-city tour. If you’re playing SXSW, you should apply! Details at www.sonicbids.com/sonicsx
- Goody bags with treats from Onitsuka Tiger, Sweetwater, Zazzle, Aux, JanSport, Avid and Universal at our party.
- Sweet giveaways from Taylor and Avid (sign up at our booth at the trade show).
