The key to having a successful store that allows you to sell your merch begins with the look and feel of your store. Now that you have your account, I would like to arm you with some tools on starting your storefront and creating a co-branded background and header. Make sure that you have already created an account and that you are logged in to your account here to get started!
Storefront Background and Header Creation
Create a Custom Storefront that matches your own much like Paste Magazine, Cheap Trick, and Jason Mraz have done! You can use the background colors and templates that Zazzle has made available, or much like you can do with your MySpace page, Zazzle also allows for advanced store skinning where you can use custom HTML to create a store which will mirror your own site. Visit here for more explanation on custom skinning.
To go ahead and enter your code or select from Zazzle’s template and background offerings visit here.
You will also want to upload a store header here. This header will need to be either 900×100 or 900×200 pixels wide, so if you are a skilled designer, you want to create a nice header in Photoshop, or if you are not, you can simply upload your logo, and the system will scale it for you.
Finally Zazzle University is a great resource to find lots of information on improving your store. There are many informational videos, tips, and user feedback that we have outlined to help you further help you optimize your Zazzle store.
If you are confused, you can reach out to sonicbids@zazzle.com with specific questions, and we will do our best to point you in the right direction. Look out for future posts to educate you further and help build out the best experience, so stay tuned for more.
Can’t wait to see what you all create!
