The music industry is chock-full of surprises today.

Mariah Carey is taking a page out of Beyoncé's playbook: she's doing the whole surprise approach for her 14th album, with the details all being revealed at once. [Billboard]

Slayer certainly surprised us all when they debuted a new song, "Implode," during their live performance at the Golden God Awards in LA two nights ago. [Death and Taxes]

The Libertines announced that they're officially reuniting for a show in London on July 5th. This will be the band's first show together in four years. [Consequence of Sound]

Tiesto is releasing his first studio album in five years on June 16th via Casablanca Records. [Rolling Stone]
