Find me on:
Paulina Logan is a California-based singer/songwriter who creates and performs an eclectic mix of folk/pop/rock music. Drawing from artists of the past like Joni Mitchell, she has created a voice that is unique yet familiar. Paulina's songs are in rotation on radio stations throughout the world and many have found homes on internationally released compilation CDs, including Bad Girls Don’t Cry, which also features Amy Winehouse and Duffy. She even has an endorsement deal with Daisy Rock Guitars and has been featured in tons of hip indie music magazines. We recently chatted with the artist-to-watch about her favorite gigs, her Twitter obsession, and where you can see her next.

What do you hope listeners will get from your music?

I hope when people listen to my songs they feel a little less alone. My favorite artists are the ones whose songs make me feel less alone, so I hope I can do that for other people.

You’ve booked a ton (and I mean a ton) of gigs through Sonicbids. Do you have a favorite?

I have a lot of favorites, actually! Because of Sonicbids I’ve gotten a lot of great performance opportunities, like the Hollywood Book Festival, Method Fest, and last year’s North Park Music Thing. But I suppose my number one favorite was when I got to play at The Beauty Bar in Las Vegas!

What’s your prediction for the next big advancement in how we find/listen to/share music?

I think that people are going to start finding their next favorite artist from film/TV placements. I’ve found so many great songs and artists from seeing a commercial or a movie trailer and then doing some research to find out what song that was.

What’s your favorite way/tool/site for you to interact with your fans in the digital age? Do you recommend anything to other artists?

I love Twitter so much! It’s definitely my favorite way to keep in touch with people and strike up conversations with folks that otherwise I wouldn’t have a way to contact, like managers and agents.

What’s your next big gig coming up? When/Where?

I’m a songwriter’s circle at Matt Denny’s Ale House Restaurant on August 30, which was booked through Sonicbids!
