Telluride_copyTroubadours have long been a central figure in preserving stories of heroic deeds and entertaining travelers in taverns. Today we have Twitter and laptops for that. If you want to move beyond the coffeeshop scene, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Troubadour Competition could be the break you're looking for.

In its 23rd year, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Troubadour Competition is seeking songwriters to play at the festival taking place in Colorado on June 19-22, 2014. We've got all the details you need to know on how to enter and rules for applying, then check out the list of winners from the last 23 years.

Along with cash and prizes, each finalist also receives a four-day Town Park camping pass for the festival currently in its 41st year!), a guaranteed in-the-round performance slot, performance coaching, and a KOTO 91.7 FM live radio slot during the festival.

The opportunity closes Friday, Apr. 11, so make sure you apply right now!
