House of Blues New Music Nights – Live Nation presents the House of Blues New Music Nights, powered by Sonicbids. Bands can submit for the opportunity to play the House of Blues in their local market – and all selected bands will then be included in a fan-driven campaign where the top band will also play at the other two House of Blues clubs in their region. This program kicks off in the West region in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Diego with shows this summer (dates TBA) and is expected to roll out to other regions in the coming months. The deadline to submit is April 27, 2011.
Amber Reigns Tour Support – Amber Reigns is an up and coming Canadian band signed to Voodoo Records from Toronto Ontario. They are touring the US and will be playing from Buffalo down to South Carolina then heading to the west coast. Once in California they head up to Seattle then back across the top of the US where they will cross back into Canada in Detroit. They are looking for opening acts for their shows while on tour, and are accepting submissions from all grunge, rock, alternative and blues Sonicbids artists. Artists must be able to draw at least 25 people to the show. Artists will be compensated. The deadline to submit is April 30, 2011.
UrbanPlusGeek Podcast – UrbanPlusGeek Podcast is looking for African American artists or Artists of African descent to interview and feature on its podcast. The podcast once once a week on Fridays and usually runs for about 30-40 minutes. Selected artists will receive great exposure through their tracks being aired for the podcast's listeners and the featured spot on the show. The podcast is accepting songs all genres of music, and in particular, is looking for music with multicultural perspective and that address topics of society and culture. All submitted songs must be clean, and free of explicit material. The deadline to submit is April 30, 2011.
Summer Sound Liepaja – Summer Sound Liepaja 2011 is a new music festival held on July 22-23, in Liepaja, Latvia. With five stages, including an upcoming artist stage, the festival has around one hundred artists performing for more than 20,000 people. Summer Sound Liepaja Festival offers one Soncibids member a chance to perform live during the event. Come and submit your band if you want to play here and have nice weekend on a sandy beach at the Baltic sea. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances as well as for travel expenses, food and accommodation. The deadline to submit is May 1, 2011.
Elephant or Mouse - Featured Artists – Elephant or Mouse is a new music entertainment website designed to showcase artists performing their craft. Elephant or mouse wants to focus everyone's attention on the little guys so that they can become big guys, hence the elephant or mouse theme. Too often, the focus is only on the biggest acts when there are so many other worthwhile artists who deserve attention. It is looking for artists with audio content/ newly released albums or video footage to submit, which will then be reviewed, posted and featured on the Elephant or Mouse website. They are primarily looking to showcase artists in a video format. The deadline to submit is May 18, 2011.
