G3 Magazine :: Music Up and Coming - G3 Magazine is present from the streets to the boardroom. No matter a person's background may be, G3 Magazine is like a breath of fresh air. This print publication is universal with a basic appeal to the masses. G3 Magazine is looking for hip hop, rap, R&B, rock and pop artists for an emerging artist feature in the magazine. Music will be reviewed by industry professionals to determine artists that are a good selection for G3 Magazine. Further rules and regulations will be sent to each candidate in regards to G3 Magazine. There are 2 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. The deadline to submit is Sep. 7th.
The Triple Door - The Triple Door, located in Seattle, WA is a historic lounge, and venue featuring nightly live music. It is looking to book local, regional, or touring artists to perform live on available dates. The Triple Door welcomes a variety of genres including acoustic, adult contemporary, alternative, Americana, bluegrass, blues, country, folk, funk, jazz, and singer/songwriters. They stay away from hard rock, metal and hip-hop. Artists should be able draw 200 guests or more to be considered for booking. The deadline to submit is Sep. 9th.
Round Cat Records - Round Cat Records is seeking 6-11 complete songs with female vocals from the genres of pop, rock, and soul. Submitted tracks should be in the mode of Grace Popper, Susan Tedeschi, and Sara Bareilles. The selected songs will be performed by the label's new artist and appear on her new CD due to start recording in January 2012. Selected artists will receive all writers share royalties as well as additional royalty incentives from the Record label for their work. Selected songs will also get full writers credit on the CD. The deadline to submit is Sep. 30th.
WTZ Radio - WTZ Radio, based out of Los Angeles, CA, is seeking music for its new show titled American Roots with Lawrence Lebo, which airs on Tuesdays from 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm (PST). The show is seeking indie artists for airplay in genres including traditional jazz, traditional blues, folk, western swing and bluegrass. Submissions must be original compositions and artist must own full copyrights to the songs they are submitting. There is a minimum of 3 reserved slots for Sonicbids artists each month. All artists who are selected for radio play will also be considered for a live phone interview. The deadline to submit is Oct. 13th.
