Shrine NYC – Shrine, located in New York, NY, is a multimedia arts and culture venue, founded in 2007 by musicians and music lovers in the music capitol of Harlem. It is looking to book local to touring solo artists and bands to perform live on every night of the week (Friday and Saturdays are reserved for established world artists). Webers Place welcomes a wide variety of genres, especially world musicians, for which the venue is famous. Artists must be able to draw at least 50 people to the show and be 21 years and older to play. Artists will be compensated with a split of the bar. The deadline to submit is May 1st.
Caravan 2011 – Caravan is an annual festival that takes place in Belgrade Lakes, Maine each summer. It gets its name from the caravan of musicians and fans that make the trek from Philadelphia each summer to enjoy three days of music and fresh air. There are at least two performance slots available. Artists retain 100% of merch. There is no monetary compensation, but artists will be provided with free lodging, food, and drink. In some circumstances, Caravan may be able to help with travel expenses. The deadline to submit is May 2nd.
The 5 Spot – The 5 Spot, located in Atlanta, GA, is in its 8th year of serving the Atlanta community with great music and great food. It is looking to book local, regional and touring solo artists and bands to perform live at the venue every day of the week. It is accepting a wide variety of genres, as it is known for its eclectic taste in music. Artists will be compensated. The deadline to submit is May 2nd.
Club Red – Club Red, located Tempe, Arizona, is a live music venue featuring the most talented local, regional and national touring bands. It is looking for solo artists and bands to perform live at the venue 7 nights per week, starting in April 2011. All genres are accepted at the venue. Artists will be compensated. This amount varies depending on the artists, and is usually either a presale requirement or a percentage of the door or bar. The deadline to submit is May 2nd.
Talent Music Showcase – Since 1996, Talent Music Showcase has been providing bands with a unique booking service. It is looking to book southern California artists who are unsigned, to perform live at the 2011 Talent Music Showcase. The series of concerts will be held at Harpers in Tarzana, CA on May 6, 13, 20, and 26, 2011 and 8-10 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists to play these shows. Bands must be willing to pre-sell 20 tickets at $10 each. The deadline to submit is May 13th.
