Americana Music Festival & Conference - The 13th Annual Americana Music Festival & Conference is expected to bring over 1,000 executives, professionals and artists together from all over the world. This year, through a special partnership with The Americana Music Association, Sonicbids is providing submissions for the Festival at NO COST. There are at least six slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. The Americana Music Festival will feature approximately 100 showcase or performance slots for both established and emerging artists, performing in both daytime slots and off-site evening showcases. Selected artists get a small honorarium, ONE full conference registration and showcase wristbands (access to music venues only) for the remaining band members. The deadline to submit is Mar 31st.
Y108 Spring Music Festival - The Spring Music Festival is a celebration of music that showcases both established and independent bands from North America. Under the festival umbrella, The Y108 Presents: Spring Music Festival’s Last Band Standing is a tournament-style modern rock talent search that will award one band a development package of $20,000 in cash and prizes, and be crowned the festival's Rock and Roll Champion. Currently there are 100+ slots available for Sonicbids bands within Ontario. Each show averages 250 people and bands are encouraged to sell merch, while gaining new fans and being judged by industry veterans. The deadline to submit is Apr 13th.
Shake the Lake - Taking place August 10-12 in Sylvan Lake, Shake The Lake is Alberta's Action Sports and Music festival! With dozens of sponsors, media coverage from Television, Radio, Print & Web, and with upwards of 10,000 spectators expected to attend, it is not a festival any band wants to miss out on. Shake The Lake's main stage will feature 30 bands in the heart of the festival site, giving them maximum exposure and unencumbered access to festivalgoers. Six slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists. Festival-style hospitality, professional audio, stage and back-line gear are provided to all artists. The deadline to submit is May 31st.
