Winter Tour with Shinobi Ninja – Heard Entertainment presents Shinobi Ninja’s “Rock Hood Tour 2011”, powered by Skully Boom and with special guest Freesol. The company is currently looking for bands to support select dates on the east coast portion of the tour and there are 10 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. The shows will take place on the East Coast and submitting artists should be prepared to successfully promote their time slot. The deadline to submit is Feb. 18th.
Planetary & Sonicbids Present Tour Singapore – For ten years, Planetary Group has been offering exciting touring opportunities in China, Scandinavia, and India. It is now offering the opportunity to visit South East Asia – to the exciting city of Singapore. This event is open to solo artists only. Whether a singer/songwriter – or a solo project from a band – this tour is for artists who travel the road alone. All styles of music will be considered. One Sonicbids artist will be selected to perform five shows in Singapore at the well known Tab live music venue. Planetary takes care of all expenses, including airfare, hotel, backline and per-diem for meals. Artists will also be compensated $500 for their performance. The deadline to submit is Feb. 25th.
The Extreme Tour 2011 – The Extreme Tour presents its 16th year of festival-style events across the United States. Selected band can perform as much or as little of the tour schedule as they feel they can do. The Extreme Tour takes care of travel expenses like housing and food and some artists will be compensated for their participation with an additional travel stipend. The U.S. Tour will select 50-75 Sonicbids bands for 2011. The International tour teams will accept an additional 15-30 Sonicbids bands based on availability of slots and performances. The deadline to submit is March 29th.
Camplified Summer Camp Tour 2011 – Camplified Summer Camp Tour 2011, a Primary Wave/Hear Here Production, emerges for its 10th Anniversary with performances in front of a energetic market of 30,000+ influential teens and tweens at 45+ summer camps across America. One to six Sonicbids members are guaranteed to perform (there are six performance dates reserved for Sonicbids artists). Selected artists will receive a $100 stipend for gas and expenses per tour date, a section on the Camplified website with a link to band website, and a write up on the Camplified blog site including a Q&A with the band. The deadline to submit is June 1st.
CME’s UK Tour Autumn 2011 – CME Artist Services has been organizing and promoting musical tours in the UK since 2000 and has built up a consistent reputation on the live music circuit of the UK. The tour runs during the last week of September and is open to all secular genres of original music from all nationalities. There are now 2 performance slots reserved for online Sonicbids applicants. Within the UK all travel, accommodation, a minimum of one daily meal, promotion, and work permits are provided by CMEAS, CMEAS partners, and the venues themselves. Also provided are the amps, drums (not snare and cymbals) and backline PA. The deadline to submit is June 22nd.
