We know that being an artist is a hard living, so we want to make sure you’re getting all of your deserved royalties for the use of your songs. That’s why we’ve partnered with SoundExchange®. SoundExchange is a non-profit digital performance rights organization that is looking to reimburse recording artists who are owed royalties from digital services that have streamed your recordings. And we know that you’re all social media marketing geniuses by now and have your songs on every site possible, so there could be royalties waiting for you!

So, how does it work? When the music tracks you’ve recorded are commercially released and played on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, Internet radio (e.g. Pandora, Yahoo, Live365.com) and on cable and satellite TV services like Comcast's "Music Choice" and DirecTV, SoundExchange collects a royalty on your behalf to make sure you get the money you’re owed for your music. And SoundExchange has $550,000 in total owed to Sonicbids members!

By signing up for SoundExchange, you’ll be able to track all of your digital performance royalties at all times, so you know exactly how your music is being used and listened to.

To sign up, go to SoundExchange's online registration site and submit the online form. And if you still have questions about how SoundExchange works, you can check out their FAQ.
